In the morning of this wake of September, the world witnessed the ring of fire Solar Eclipse. In Kigali, the battle in the skies between the Sun and the Moon was captured vividly by Inyarwanda's photographer Modeste Uwizeyimana.
The eclipse began at 9:00.
At 10:30, the sun was totally blinded by the moon, and Kigali ...and in parts of the world was Shadowy. Inyarwanda’s photographer, Modeste Uwizeyimana descended on the ground to drive you through the mice-and-cat game between the sun and the moon in the battle in the skies as many watchers were calling it.

As seen from the Earth, a solar eclipse is a type of eclipse that occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, and the Moon fully or partially blocks ("occults") the Sun. This can happen only at new moon, when the Sun and the Moon are in conjunction as seen from Earth in an alignment referred to as syzygy.
