Gasogi United President, Kakooza Nkuliza Charles (KNC), has expressed frustration with the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) for its delay in finalizing the number of foreign players allowed to participate in the upcoming football season. With just hours left before the league kicks off, KNC is baffled by the lack of clarity on this issue.

The debate around increasing the number of foreign players from six to eight has been ongoing, but no official decision has been communicated. Speaking on Radio & TV1's "Rirarashe" show, KNC called out FERWAFA and the Rwanda Premier League management for failing to make a decision, labeling it as embarrassing and frustrating.

"It's shocking that with just 24 hours left before the league starts, coaches are still in the dark about how many foreign players they can field. This lack of direction is a disgrace to our league and FERWAFA," KNC remarked, urging the authorities to make a definitive ruling, whether it's a yes or no, to allow teams to finalize their preparations.

KNC warned that if FERWAFA does not act quickly, the federation could face backlash from club presidents who are growing increasingly discontented with the current administration. He emphasized the importance of decisive leadership, stating, "We, as club members, have agreed on this issue 100%. FERWAFA needs to respect our wishes or face the consequences."
