In preparation for the annual Rayon Sports Day, the football club has partnered with SKOL Brewery Rwanda to launch "Gikundiro Week," offering special discounts on SKOL Lager. This week-long event was announced on Monday during a ceremony at SKOL Brewery's headquarters in Nzove.
During the launch, Rayon Sports unveiled their plans for the week and expressed gratitude for their decade-long partnership with SKOL. The club's president highlighted the significant contributions from SKOL, including the construction of a training field that accommodates up to 1,000 people.
"We appreciate SKOL's
unwavering support over the past ten years," he said. "Their
commitment has gone beyond contractual obligations, significantly benefiting
Rayon Sports and Rwandan sports in general."
Eric Gilson, the managing
director of SKOL Brewery Rwanda, reiterated their dedication to the
partnership. "We are delighted to continue our journey with Rayon Sports.
Starting now, customers purchasing two SKOL Lagers will receive a third one for
free," he announced.
The ceremony also
featured the introduction of Robertinho as the new head coach for Rayon Sports
and the unveiling of the team's new jerseys. The new kits prominently feature
blue, symbolizing the 1,000 hills of Rwanda, and white, representing the club's
history and foundation.
