The world's richest man, Elon Musk, who bought Twitter, has announced that he plans to replace the bird's logo with an 'X'.
This is the
biggest overhaul he'll make to the site since his $44 billion acquisition last
year.
As he
continued to write on this site from midnight in the United States, he said
that he plans to make this update from Monday of this week.
Elon Musk
via Twitter, said that he is going to change the logo of this website from a
bird to the letter 'X'. It is not very surprising that this man often uses the
letter 'X' in his work, since he also has a child named after this letter. He
also owns other companies including 'Space X'.
Other recent
updates to the site have led to criticism from many that it could lead to more
advertisers being targeted, as well as a decline in its quality as an opinion
polling site.
The
billionaire's latest hire is Linda Yaccarino, who had worked at NBC, a major
U.S. communications, media and entertainment company.
He made him
CEO of Twitter in an effort to win back advertisers who had been discouraged by
the changes.
Ever since
Elon Musk bought Twitter, there have been critics that the changes he will make
will hurt their business.
In April, he
announced that there were returnees but did not elaborate. Elon Musk is also
going to rebrand Twitter as he continues his battle with Zuckerberg, who
launched the new 'Threads' site and beat Twitter.
