Cardi B's producer DJ Official,26 has been shot dead in LA four months after winning a Grammy Award.
The musician, real
name Leslie André Wakefield Jr., was just 26 years old when he was gunned down
in a shooting in the city last Friday in a car with male companion when a
gunman in another vehicle opened fire on them. Wakefield is said to have
suffered several gunshots wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene while the
other victim is believed to be in a stable condition in hospital.

didn't divulge any information on suspects, an officer revealed that the attack
could be gang related. However, the producer's grandfather told NBC Los Angeles: "All he did was
go to work and come home. He didn't belong to [a] gang or nothing like
that".
Following
the tragic news of his passing, pals of DJ Official, who has also worked with
Tyga and Chris Brown, flocked to send their condolences and remember him.
