She had been crowned second runner in Miss Rwanda competition; she is also cultural Miss Rwanda. And now she is competing with Girls from all over the world, for miss heritage 2014 that will be held in South Africa.
The 22 years old Miss Mutoniwase Marlene is now among the 38 contestant that have enrolled so far and she is more likely to win if Rwandans help her, by voting through internet.
This is going to be the second edition of miss heritage international competitions, the first took place last year 2013 and ended by crowning Miss Shequera Grace King from Bahamas, who is going to be handing the crown to this year winner on 13th December.
Only 20 girls will be selected as finalist who will attend the final show, they will also meet in South Africa for a boot camp that will last a whole week before the main event where the miss will be revealed. Apart Miss heritage, they will also select the 1st runner as the ambassador of peace, 2nd runner as the ambassador of environment, the 3rd runner as the ambassador of culture and finally the 4th runner as the ambassador of tourism.
Miss marlene told us that she is counting on Rwandans to raise her higher by voting and praying for her, she also said that she was very pleased to be representing Rwanda and whenever given the opportunity she is very confident that she will make it to miss heritage international.
