This was during the last "annual most beautiful people of Africa award", held in South Africa at the Gregor theater in Bloemfontein to be precise where the votes for the African beautiful people took place.
It is to be noted that it is not the first time that Kenyans are voted last, and according to the votes, they had only 7 votes out of 540 that had to vote. Indeed, Rwanda has been on the top of the list being the country of beautiful people in Africa and it was followed by Cameroun and Ethiopia as the second runner.
Laments were a lot on Kenyans behalf of Kenyans after having the Oscar’s winner Lupita Nyong’o, Kenyan, as the world’s beautiful person according to people magazine .
Kenyans, especially women claimed that this is not an official award and they were very thrilled on the fact that it doesn’t even have a facebook or twitter account for people to vote freely.
According to diasporamessanger.com Kenyans took the last position preceded by Zambia then Gabon. There were an overall of 48 country and the judges said that they voted according to presentation, grooming, physical appearance and other areas.
