On December 30, 2024, Vision FC hosted Musanze FC in the 15th matchday of the Rwandan Premier League. The match, anticipated to be competitive, ended with Vision FC claiming an emphatic 3-0 victory, propelling them out of the relegation zone.

The match kicked off with both teams aggressively attacking, but defenses on either side remained steadfast. However, in the 16th minute, Vision FC’s Christian Iyaremye received a yellow card for colliding with Musanze FC’s goalkeeper, Jean de Dieu Nsabimana.

Just four minutes later, Vision FC took the lead through Cyubahiro Idarus, who brilliantly outmaneuvered Musanze’s defenders Muhire Anicet, Nkurunziza Felicien, and Kwizera Trezor to score a clinical goal. Idarus’s skill and composure were a highlight of the game.

In the 36th minute, Rugangazi Prosper doubled Vision FC’s lead with a thunderous strike that left goalkeeper Nsabimana Jean de Dieu helpless. Musanze FC attempted to respond, and Kwizera Trezor came close with a powerful shot in the 45th minute, but it sailed over the crossbar.

During added time in the first half (45+6), Cyubahiro Idarus capitalized on a defensive mix-up between Musanze FC’s defenders and their goalkeeper to score his second goal of the match. Vision FC headed into halftime with a commanding 3-0 lead.

In the second half, Musanze FC increased their attacking intensity, led by Lethabo Mathabe, Salim Abdalah, and Sunday Inemest. Despite their efforts, Vision FC’s goalkeeper, Lutaaya Michael, delivered an exceptional performance, thwarting every attempt.

Musanze FC’s relentless attacks failed to yield any goals, and the match ended with Vision FC’s 3-0 victory. This win brought Vision FC’s points tally to 12, lifting them out of the relegation zone. They are now level on points with Kiyovu Sports but boast a superior goal difference, with a deficit of only seven goals compared to Kiyovu’s sixteen.

In another match, Bugesera FC overwhelmed Marines FC with a stunning 4-1 victory. Bugesera’s goals came from Gakwaya Léonard, two strikes by Umar ABBA, and one from Nyarugabo Moïse. Marines’ lone goal was scored by Usabimana Olivier.

This result propelled Bugesera FC to 16 points, equaling Marines FC in the standings and boosting their confidence as they aim for higher positions.
