After six months of sports activities closure, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Rwanda has restarted football and other games. However, players must adhere to the government established preventive measures against the spread of Covid-19.
In mid-March
this year, the country decided to suspend matches of football and other games in a bid to impair increase of new cases of Covid-19.
The Minister
of sports and culture today announced that all sports activities have reopened,
but clubs have to request for authorization, to ensure that they comply with
new regulations on Covid-19 prevention.
The Minister further urged everyone to comply with the government preventive measures of fighting against the spread of Covid-19.
The schedule shows that footballing championship of 2020/2021 will kick off in mid-October. Other games will also take the follow later.
