Angola's Under-18 National Basketball Team has edged out Egyptians on 86-82 after 5-minute overtime to claim the Fourth FIBA AFRICA U18 title on Sunday Evening at Amahoro National Indoor Stadium.
A 25-16 lead in the first quarter saw Angola take charge of the game early on but Egypt launched a strong comeback in the second period to trail by just one point 41-40 at half-time.

The lead changed 10 times and the game was tied on eight occasions in the lead-up to a tightly contested fourth quarter that ended with the score tied at 77.
It required an additional five minutes to determine the winner. Angola scored 9 points whereas Egypt scored five points within only 5 additional 5’ which raise Angola’s chance to 86 point over 82 by Egypt.
This is the fourth FIBA Africa U18 trophy that Angola has collected so far
