As usual, every Monday on Inyarwanda TV, the Game Changers show airs, bringing you highlights of the biggest sports stories from the past weekend in Rwanda and across Europe.

In this Monday’s edition of Game Changers, we revisited how APR FC won the Heroes Cup. The army-sponsored team claimed the trophy after defeating Police FC in the final through a 4-2 penalty shootout, avenging their previous loss in the 2024 edition, where Police FC had beaten them to lift the trophy.

We also analyzed how Rwanda’s top four clubs strengthened their squads in the January transfer window. These teams include Police FC, AS Kigali, APR FC, and Rayon Sports.

Police FC signed Byiringiro Lague, who recently parted ways with Swedish club Sandvikens IF.

AS Kigali brought in new players, including Haruna Niyonzima, Nibikora Arthur from Burundi, Nshimirimana Jospin from Kiyovu Sports, and Rudasingwa Prince, a former Rayon Sports player.

Rayon Sports bolstered its squad with Biramahire Abeddy, a well-known name in Rwandan football, alongside Asana Nah Innocent, Adulai Jalo, and Souleymane Daffe.

APR FC strengthened its squad with the signings of Denis Omedi, Hakim Kiwanuka, and Cheik Djibril Ouattra.

In addition, Game Changers also covered the latest action in the English Premier League. We analyzed Arsenal’s dominant 5-1 victory over Manchester City and Manchester United’s disappointing 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace.
