Renowned Rwandan producer Element, known for crafting chart-topping tracks like "Kashe," is breaking new ground. He recently revealed that he was chosen by Tanzanian music legend Ali Kiba to produce one of the songs from his upcoming project.
Element, who has worked
with big names like Ommy Dimpoz, Harmonize, and Marioo, is currently in
Tanzania, finalizing several music projects. On Thursday night, October 17,
2024, Element shared a video from the studio, showing him and Ali Kiba working
together. The video included a vibrant group of musicians and collaborators,
underscoring the excitement surrounding the project.
"Meeting and working
with a legend like Ali Kiba was an incredible experience," Element said,
teasing that fans should expect something truly special. He emphasized the
energy and dedication both he and Ali Kiba brought to the song's creation.
Ali Kiba, a close friend
of Rwanda, has long shown his support for the country. Every year on April 7,
he joins Rwandans in remembering the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the
Tutsi, further cementing his bond with the nation.
Ali Kiba, one of East
Africa’s most celebrated artists, has built a long career marked by his hits
like "Mwana," "Aje," and "Cinderella." He has
collaborated with artists such as Patoranking, Sauti Sol, and Yvonne Chaka
