Tanzanian Gospel artist Bella Kombo is set to perform in Kigali for the first time, at a live recording event organized by worship singer Eddy Muramyi. The concert, scheduled for December 13, 2024, will take place at the Crown Conference Hall in Nyarutarama and will serve as a platform to record songs from Eddy's debut album "Rukundo."
Eddy invited Bella due to
her rising popularity in East Africa and her powerful Gospel music. He expressed
excitement about the collaboration, saying, "Bella is an artist I admire.
Her music has touched many, and I’m thrilled she agreed to join me for this
concert. It’s a great opportunity for my music to reach a broader
audience."
This performance comes
after Bella's previous visit to Rwanda in August 2024, where she participated
in the "Thanksgiving Conference" hosted by Pastor Dr Ian Tumusime of Bugesera Revival Palace Church. In addition to performing together,
Eddy and Bella will collaborate on several songs, including Bella's hit
"Ameniona" and Eddy’s own "Musaraba."
Bella Kombo, born in
Tanzania, has gained significant recognition for her Gospel music. Her hit song
"Mungu Ni Mmoja," released in April 2024, has garnered over 12
million views on YouTube, solidifying her status as one of East Africa's top
Gospel artists.
The "Rukundo Live
Recording" promises to be an inspiring event, bringing together
worshippers and fans for an evening of powerful music and worship.
