Amavubi’s player, Rubanguka Steve, is set to attend the national team call-up while unemployed after parting ways with Moldovan's FC Zimbru Chisinau that he played for.

The midfielder's contract with the club was to expire on June 30, 2023. Zimbru FC refused to extend his contract to continue with it and decided to pay him the money for this month that would not have expired.

It's not just happened to this Rwandan player, because all other players who were going to finish the contract at the end of this month, they didn’t add anything.

The reason Zimbru FC did this early is to see how it buys other players early and those who are different also see how they talk to other clubs who want them.

Rubanguka Steve arrived at Zimbru FC last year in 2022 from a club called Karaiskakis from Greece which he had joined in 2020.

InyaRwanda learns that there are currently 3 teams looking for this player, including Paris FC from the second division in France.

It is expected that the date 11 June 2023 will be the day when Rubanguka Steve will arrive in Rwanda to participate in the invitation of Amavubi to the Mozambique game in search of a ticket for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Cote D'Ivoire next year.
