Singer Davido has reacted to being called the king of Afrobeats by Forbes magazine after the successful release of his album 'Timeless.'
Multiple award-winning singer and performer David Adeleke who is popularly known as Davido in an exclusive interview with Billboard news opened up on what he thinks about being called the king of Afrobeats by Forbes in the latest magazine issue for Africa after the successful release of his fourth studio album 'Timeless.'
The singer revealed that he has always been at the frontline advocating for Africa. He shared that during his time schooling in the United States in Alabama, he had actively promoted the African culture in anyway he could and had decided also that if he was to do music it would be the same for him (this means promoting the African sound).
Davido is set to go on tour in the United States and also Canada and many are excited about this even the singer himself who had made a recent visit to the Eithad for the premier League fixture, Man City Vs Chelsea and was present when Manchester City were crowned champions of England.
