The Rwanda’s blues confirmed that they are filing a case against Rwanda’s soccer federation, Ferwafa, after announcing that merely rival of Rayon Sports, APR Fc and A.S Kigali will represent the country in African games.
Back in few days, Rayon Sports sent a petition to Rwanda’s federation of football association in an attempt to amend decision made, which concluded that only two teams are to head to CAF Champions League. Ferwafa replied that the decision made will never change. Rayon was hardly convinced by the response until it took its case to CAF to get justice.
‘’ We are
absolutely prepared to file a case against Ferwafa, we will send our claim to
CAF to get justice,’’ Jean Paul Nkurunziza, Rayon Sports Spokesperson said.
To Rayon Sports members, Ferwafa had no right to leave popular team in the country behind for whatever reason. They have to be given opportunity to participate in CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup.
