Rwanda’s minister of sports, Munyangaju Aurore Mimosa announced that problems that adversely affect success of Rayon Sports team will be solved in the near future.
The minister’s statement comes after President, Paul kagame of Rwanda, on 8 September urged him to tackle all issues hampering progress of Rayon sports team.
She said that the decision to be made, within a month, will be based on fairness
Speaking to Rwanda’s Radio on 9th September 2020, the Minister promised to the Blues fans that he is going to deeply investigate on origin of bad performance of the team.
‘’ As Minister, I feel so worried about the crisis that Rayon Sports is facing,
so do other government organs, but it will be fairly handled according to the law,’’ she said.
''Not later than one month, we will have solved Rayon Sports problems because of our special scrutiny we have
carried out on the problem,’’ she added.
She said that sporting in Rwanda is based on professionalism, fairness and respects laws. Problems in Rayon Sports are triggered by poor administration, notably within this year, which coincided with the outbreak of COVID-19.
