Rwanda’s national team of basketball was yesterday sent home by Tunisia on the final group match played in Cape Vert.
Rwanda’s national
team of basketball of youth who are under 16 years, was seriously beaten by
Tunisia, scoring 75-88 points during their 4th match of the
tournament.
Rwanda only won one
match of the four, competing in group B with Mali, Tunisia, Ivory
Coast and Guinea. Rwanda’s national team was sent home by Tunisia on their final group
match played in Cape Vert.
Rwanda’s
team of youth who are under 16 years was defeated by Ivory Coast in an opening
match, scoring 60-62 points. Guinea also upbeat Rwanda, scoring 63-47 points
and Mali scored 70-40 points. Rwanda expected to enter 1/8 if it were to win
yesterday’s match but Tunisia ended its dream.
Tunisia overridden
first quarter, scoring 24-13 points against Rwanda, and continued that spirit
even in the second quarter winning 25-17 points. Tunisia fiercely dominated in
the third quarter, notching up fourth quarter with 20-14 points. Rwanda started
the fourth quarter, reclaiming their winning spirit but it ended in a draw.
