Serbian, Bosnijak Vradimir, coaching Rwanda national team of basketball selected 12 players who are expected to represent the country in games, of seeking qualifications for FIBA AFROCAN, which will be taking place in Uganda’s capital from 26 June until 1st July 2019.
After intensive trainings at the
Remera stadium Bosnijak Vradimir tested Ally Ruzigange of Patriots BBC and
Emanuel Iyakaremye, who plays for APR BBC, but was not impressed with their
performance and decided to leave them behind. The 12 players selected are
taking off this Monday, 24, around 19:00 heading Kampala.
During the
games of seeking qualifications for FIBA AFROCAN Rwanda is in the group of
Kenya, Egypt, Tanzania and Uganda.
Now that tournament
of FIBA AFRO BASKET is scheduled to take place for every four years’ time FIBA set
up another championship expected to happen every two years, joining country who
are eager to participate in. Mali is said that it will host the championship for
the first time.
Rwanda is scheduled
to face off with Uganda, Kenya, Egypt and Tanzania to look for qualification
for FIBA AFROCAN championship that will take place in Mali.
