As Rwanda commemorates the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis for the 25th anniversary, the charity foundation of Ndayisaba Fabrice pays a respect to kids who lost their lives in the massacre.
Ndayisaba Fabrice has a charity foundation that advocates kids. Its vision and value has a focus on humanity, love, patriotism and mutual support. The foundation marks the 9th anniversary now, holding an event of commemorating murdered children.
Yesterday,9th March, the foundation held the event at the Ntarama genocide memorial site based in the Bugesera District. The ceremony began with a walk to remember.
An employee at the memorial center told about an incident at the Ntarama area during the genocide. The perpetrators killed more than three thousand Tutsis who were hidden here. We have a name list with us of at least 1542 Tustis killed in this area and more than 5000 bodies laid to rest in this memorial site.
Clothes, pictures, necklaces, pans, identity cards, money and other signs of testimonies are inside this site and represent the number of victims killed during the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis.
Social affair of NFF, Jean Luc Ndinimana told Inyarwanda.com that the event aims at teaching children a naked truth of the horrific history of Rwanda and commemorate the 1994 genocide in a bid to prevent its ideology when they are still young.
''This event was carried out in line with our mission which is to teach the young generation about the history so as to avoid genocide ideology,'' he told our journalist.
He adds, we commemorate the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis but most importantly, honor lost lives of children. We take this advantage to comfort all parents whose children killed in the tragedy and the overall survivors of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis.

A delegate from the Ministry of Education urges the young generation to be careful in the use of social media, especially on what they read and are told. He also advises parents to take a note of what their children get involved in.
Ndayisaba’s foundation promotes culture, well-wishing work and patriotism. The pillars help raise good behavior in the young generation be it in sports or entertainment .
