Renowned traditional artist, Cyusa Ibrahim, has revealed plans to send a special invitation to the Inganzo Ngari cultural troupe during his upcoming concert, "Migabo Live Concert," scheduled for May 8, 2024. This announcement comes amidst his five-year journey in the music industry, marking a significant milestone in his career.

The eagerly anticipated event is set to take place at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village, commonly known as Camp Kigali, where Cyusa Ibrahim will take center stage for his first solo concert in five years. Having previously performed at various cultural events and released several singles, he believes the time is ripe for his own headline show.

In a recent interview with InyaRwanda, Cyusa Ibrahim expressed his gratitude to the Inganzo Ngari troupe, considering them instrumental in his musical journey. He stated, "Inganzo Ngari is a foundation that has provided me with the platform to pursue my musical dreams."

He added, "It is a community where we support each other's artistic endeavors. Therefore, my concert is not just about singing; it's about showcasing the richness of our culture and traditions, where a singer becomes a performer by integrating our cultural values into their art."

Cyusa revealed that his association with the institute dates back to the past five years, from 2010 to 2015, emphasizing the importance of community support in his artistic development. He emphasized the need for people to appreciate the essence of traditional music and recognize its significance beyond mere entertainment.

The "Migabo Live Concert" derives its name from a song dedicated to President Paul Kagame, which Cyusa composed as a token of appreciation and admiration for his leadership. Cyusa emphasized the concert's aim to celebrate democracy and encourage participation in the upcoming presidential elections.

He added, "I named it 'Migabo' after the song I composed in honor of President Kagame, and we also wanted to celebrate democracy during this election season. It's an event that seeks to inspire all citizens, regardless of their political affiliations, to actively engage in the democratic process."

Cyusa Ibrahim, known for hits like "Marebe," which gained popularity in 2015 and resurged in 2019, has been a prominent figure in cultural preservation efforts. His dedication to traditional music and commitment to community engagement through platforms like Radio Rwanda have earned him widespread acclaim.

Tickets for the "Migabo Live Concert" are available in three categories: Regular at 8,000 Frw, VIP at 15,000 Frw, and VVIP at 220,000 Frw. For more information and ticket purchases, visit www.ibitaramo.com.
