In 2020, MTN Group launched the Global Graduate Program with the goal of nurturing and accelerating the development of top graduates across their footprint. This transformative initiative reflects MTN's commitment to identifying and shaping future-fit talent transitioning from school to the labour market.
As an annual intake program, the MTN Global Graduate Program continues to be a cornerstone of MTN's dedication to investing in the next generation of who are being promoted to work in the technology industry. The program empowers them with the skills, knowledge, and practical experiences necessary to excel in a rapidly evolving landscape and generate positive changes in their communities.

Resources shares his excitement about the upcoming graduation, stating, “It is
truly a wonderful moment to witness the MTN Global Graduates completing their
intensive 18-month journey of hard work and continuous learning. We’ve seen the
graduates immerse themselves in the market, delivering innovative solutions not
only to close gaps within our industry but also within their communities. These
individuals are not just graduates; they are future-fit and confident to make a
lasting impact in the ever-evolving landscape of our industry and beyond."
The Global Graduates from each of the three cohorts
have made significant contributions to the overall business by bringing forth
innovations that our customers enjoy today.
In the
recent
years, the MTN Global graduates have shown an exceptional skill of turning creative
ideas into real-world solutions, addressing important community needs. Notable
accomplishments include the groundbreaking Tira4me, which allows one to borrow voice
minutes on someone’s behalf, the user-friendly MoMo QR Code which simplifies electronic
payments through easy QR code scans and the empowering Self-Reversal feature,
enabling the retrieval of mistakenly sent funds without the need to visit
service centres. These achievements highlight the MTN Global Graduates'
commitment to innovation and community improvement.

The graduation ceremony marks the final stage of over
of a year and a half of hard work, dedication, and perseverance by our 60
