Songstress, France Gusenga Munyampundu, who is best known on stage as France disclosed she wrote a hit dubbed'' Sinabirota'' thanks to his talk with her song-fellow, Lionel, whom they encountered for the first time in Future Record studio belonged to Producer David. She told us she will collaborate a song with American, Beyonce.
''I am the Future'' contest winner was awarded Frw15 million and had her song audio and video made.
She had also her works promoted and was mentored on how to enhance her singing
passion.
It appears that
she parted ways with Lionel since roughly eight months elapsed without
seeing their featured songs like before.
Speaking in
interview with INYARWANDA, France confided she took a music break in a bid to
enhance her vocation. She further said that she had to relax and breathe in
order to get ample requirements of music, adding she wanted to study music and
create artworks so that she becomes more competent in music realm
'' The song,
Oya, cost me so much time but it is a nice product and I am so proud of it,''
she said.
Few days ago,
France released hit '' Sinabikora'' which attracted attention of You tube
viewers. At least seven thousands of people have watched it. She lauds a singer,
Lionel, to have contributed so much to composing the song.
'' We wrote it
when we were in studio; David, Lionel and I. That time, Lionel had soon come
from school, when we finished he told me I had hated him and smiled a little
bit,'' she recalled, adding she told him that she never disliked him.
'' After I told
him ''Sinabirota'‘{I can't dream it} he turned about and told me ''eeeh you can't
dream it,'' that's how I got inspiration and we started writing it together. It
was a tiny thing but later became big one.’’
France won ''I
am the future'' competition and unveiled popular songs like Sinabirota. She
said that she released a Kinyarwanda chant to attract attention of Kinyarwanda
speakers.
'' I am a Rwandan
lady and I wanted to reach to a bid number of Rwandans. I also aim to promote
Rwandan culture better than aliens', ''she said. she added she was being honest
with Lionel when she said she never disliked him but Lionel hardly realized it.
She went on to
tell us that she received encouraging comments on her song, appreciating her writing
and message. She revealed she would have
been a film actress if she weren't a singer and that she has dreams of
collaborating a song with an American singing star, Beyonce. '' I love
Beyonce since many years ago, she is a beautiful queen of my inspiration. I have
dreams of co-staring with her in my song, I believe my dreams will come true
because when you have determination and commitment and, above all, say prayers, nothing
can prevent you from realizing your ambition,'' she predicted.
The song was filmed by Sasha Vybz who produced videos of artists who have big names in east African community, while audio was recorded and mastered by Producer David.
