KCCA, yesterday, ended Rayon Sports's dream of clinching CECAFA KAGAME CUP 2019 title, scoring 2-1 goal in a quarter final match played at Kigali stadium

KCCA, the winner of this years' football championship in Uganda, scored an opening goal on 39th minute thanks to Moustapha Kiza, before Herve Rugwiro won a single goal for Rayon Sports, on 48th minute.

The second half-time did hardly continue to be prosperous for Rayon's side since they could not maintain their victory as Jackson Nunda of Uganda edged past defenders of Rayon and, with a head shot, broke deadlock on 66 minute.

Analytically, KCCA dominated the whole match because the match was faster and challenging players of Rayon who seemed not brave enough to stop Uganda's speed in the pitch.

Rayon tried to change game tactic on 54th minute, substituting Jean Claude Iranzi by Yannick Bizimana, Hussein Cyiza by Gilbert Mugisha on 72nd minute and Saidi Irakoze by Olokwei Comodore on 83rd minute.

Rayon Sports,white, in tough match against KCCA

Azam Fc reached the half-final after beating TP Mazembe 2-1 in the match of a quarter final before Rayon Sports thumped by Ugandans.

The half-final matches are scheduled to go on today as APR Fc will be facing off with AS Maniema, of democratic republic of Congo, around 18h30'- following a match of Gor Mahia Fc, of Kenya, against Green Eagles of Zambia.
