African Sunz, Norway- based Rwandans, is a band of music made of two males better known as Afrobeats singing stars. The pair have released new jam, dubbed "Tonight," featuring Rwandan songbird, Mani Martin.
The single was produced by David Tuyishimire and
recorded in Kigali by Future Records, accredited by Charly and Nina.
On this effort, the group has featured an award
winning Rwandese musician, Mani Martin, whom reviewers of Rwanda Spectrum
Magazine describe as "one of the Rwanda’s strongest live performing acts’’.
African Sunz who sing in Kiswahili, English and French
language, told inyarwanda.com that they met, in Norway, when they were very young
and started singing together.
‘’ I was playing with my fellow children when I saw a
kind child, who was also strong, I looked at him and said ‘’where are you from?’’,
he turned back and said where are you from too! That is how we met,’’ Balita, who said he arrived in Norway when he was just 12 years old, recalled.
‘’ It is not our first time to return to Rwanda, where we had good times ever. We are here to collaborate with singers from Rwanda and Tanzania, and we are going to release a new song we collaborated with another Rwandan artist but you will know when it is out," they said, adding, they expect to stay in the country for a week.
