Rwanda is hosting CECAFA Kagame cup games due from 7th-21st July 2019. The schedule of the games shows that the championship will be happening at a time as CAN is slated to be taking place from 21st June to 19 July.

Azam Fc previously walked away home with CECAFA Kagame Cup title in 2018 in a match played in Tanzania.
FERWAFA disclosed
that the games will not just be played in the Kigali city at a time but some of
other football pitches, outside of Kigali, will be used. They include Umuganda
Stadium, based in Rubavu, Western Province, and Huye stadium based in the
southern province of the country, Francois Regis Uwayezu told the journalists
on Wednesday.
‘’CECAFA Kagame Cup is expected to begin from 7th -21st July 2019, preparations are going on, CECAFA and FERWAFA are working closely to host the games, we are looking forwards that it is going to be played at other stadiums except for Kigali.’’ Regis said.
Azam Fc previously defeated 2-1 goals against Simba Fc at the final match to walk away home with the title. In the championship Rwanda was represented by Rayon Sports and APR Fc who hardly outperformed to reach the final.
