As so many people are doing various things to break the Guinness De Record, an Omani man named Maher Al-Barwani decided to travel the entire world by using his motorbike. The sad thing is that his country, Oman is not helping him through.
In a deep conversation with Inyarwanda.com, Maher told us that this is the third continent he is in after Europe and Asia. He also said that Rwanda is the 37th country he is in regardless of the fact that his country Oman is not helping him in all those travels. He also said that among all the countries he has travelled in Rwanda is the most beautiful country ever “One of the beautiful country which I can say it in Africa is Rwanda, seriously I saw the big different between the other countries, it is so clean, peaceful also, the security is very high and in the road the rules are wonderful.”

As he is the first Omani who is doing this kind of travelling alone, while others did it as a group his biggest challenge is that he is not getting any support be it from his country or anywhere else. “Regarding the sponsorship that is the biggest problem I am facing in my journey…but to get a sponsor that is my difficult point and I would like…am kindly asking any organization or company in Rwanda if they have ability to sponsor me to continue my journey, they are most welcome. And also definitely there is advantage of if I get sponsorship from them they will be advertising their brands;”Said Maher Al-Barwani.
He is going to spend so long in Rwanda as he wishes to learn more about traditional dance, traditional style, food, culture and language of Rwanda as well. Before entering in any country he does a research and finds more about it. One of his missions is to strengthen the relationship between his country Oman and Rwanda especially.

He is so thankful for all the support he gets from the people who host him and welcome him as well as allowing him the place to stay in their houses as he has never used the camps, and to his family he gives the special thanks, especially to his wife who makes him moving forward without giving up and offers so many support to him. In any case if he may get enough support he can continue his journey to America.
