The senegalese singer and now a business partner, has come in Rwanda to discuss with Minister of Infrastructure of Rwanda Musoni James on his project of providing the solar energy for African nations he called, ‘Akon Lighting Africa’, where he wants Africa to be the source of good things not the other way round.
Akon came in Rwanda from Kenya, where he had a discussion with the Kenyan president and president Barrack Obama. This being the second time in Kigali, first he was passing by heading to Goma in the democratic republic of Congo.
Akon with Francis and other members from RDB with others in different posts in the parliament, in dicussions on Tuesday morning.
These are 25 countries Akon wants to take his project to, and he is planning on expension of the project to other African countries in 2016.
