Police Fc Coach and an Assistant step Down

The head coach of Police FC has at a time with his assistant stepped down. Assistant, have resigned from the club after a run of poor results.

Seninga and Justin Bisengimana’s resignation means the end of all deals with the team.

Rwanda National Police wrote on twitter; “Police FC head coach and his deputy have tendered in their resignations citing failure to achieve the targeted goal. RNP leadership has accepted the resignations. In light with the foregoing, the team's leadership has begun looking for replacements of the tacticians”.

Seninga replaced Andre Casa Mbungo on a two-year contract from Etincelles. Last year, Police FC extended the contract by three years and was supposed to run up to 2020.

He was tasked to win at least one trophy last season but failed after finishing second in the Azam Rwanda Premier League. Meantime Rayon Sports Fc eliminated Police Fc in the quarter-finals of Peace Cup.

On the league table, they are currently in eighth place with 22 points after 17 games.

In his first season, Seninga did not win any silverware. Last year, his bosses were impressed with his performance and handed him another three year contract, worth a reported Rwf72 million.
