‘Life Fitness Academy’ delagates land in Kigali to train Rwandan Gym and Health TrainersPosted By: Saddam MIHIGO - On:25/11/2017
Speaking to local media, Kate Mbithe (Kenyan) the regional (East Africa) marketing manager of Life Fitness Academy revealed that their ambition is to encourage the Rwandan Trainers and creating as well as delivering unique exercise experiences.
“In Impex Solutions we have a Life Fitness Academy, in East Africa we have started the project of trainings in Kenya, Tanzania, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Uganda. And this our time to come in Rwanda to develop the Fitness Industry. This is something helpful and can encourage the fitness trainers. Normally we think Rwanda is ready for the Academy”. Kate Mbite
Rwandan current Gym and Health Fitness trainers will have a two-day training session of 28-29 November this year at Kigali International Mariott Hotel where they have to pay Fourthy thousands Rwandan Francs (40.000 Rwf) as a registration fees per trainer.
“Initially what we are going to do is to start with the trainers, instructors and personal trainers who are just engaged and started the fitness industry. They will be trained by Keith Smith , a Specialist from United Kingdom.
Nelson Mukasa (Rwanda) a professional Fitness coach and the president of non-profit Children and Youth Sports Organisation who attracted the delegation to come in Rwanda, will be one of the participants.
In an exclusive interview with INYARWANDA, the Car Free Day trainer was thankfull to host the specialist from UK as the most developed country in gym and Health Fitness industry.

Kate Mbithe was impressed by the effort made by Rwandan trainers to develop the local industry and revealed that the remaining stage is to encourage them to become more professional.
“One thing, I am very impressed on what Rwandans have done about the development of Fitness industry, other countries should take up. Rwandans are very focused, very serious about it. Our mission is to encourage them to develop more than it’s today”.
