There is no need to blame Primus Guma Guma competition

Every time one does something without a plan cant progress in his or her work, in 2011 for the first time in Rwanda, Primus Guma Guma super star competition started with ten artists, King James, Riderman, Tom Close, Rafiki, Mani Martin, Faycal(Kode), Urban boyz, Dream Boyz, Dr Claude and Jay Polly.

For the first time Primus Guma Guma super star award was taken with Tom Close, however, some fans didn’t appreciate the results that came  from judges instead they  ended up misbehaving and showing up  some indcipline cases together with some artistes blaming the competition outcomes.

The competition made some artists to earn some money and even their songs became Popular to the extent they never expected.  however, few artists appreciated what the competition earned for them.  

Misbehavior of Artist is something that was mentioned from the start of this tournament. Rafiki, was given the giftgift and gave it back to Bralirwa, action that marked the of indiscipline case as an artist.

On Sean Kingston, Concert in Rwanda, in  concluding the competition, Dr Claude, said that the competition was fake. On top of that, some artists have backslide in their work due to miss conduct yet they had gained fame.

 The benefits of Guma Guma super star to Rwandan society and artistes 

 Despite the fact that, some artistes went on blaming Primus Guma Guma super star competition, it has brought some  positive impacts among artists and Rwandans at large.

Artists went on getting money, becoming popular on national level and international level.

 No one is perfect, though there are some mistakes, however, artists and Rwandans should value Guma Guma super star competition, it is rare in Rwanda to see an artist who can work for Rwf 1m in 30days but PGGSS does it for them.

furthemore, as soon as an artist joins  the competition, he gets Rwf 500, 000, from Bralirwa.

However, some artists have never been happy with the money they get.

In 2011Tom Close the winner of Primus Guma Guma super star was awarded Rwf 6m and others who followed him were awarded Rwf 2m.
