Rwanda’s Beauty Pageant is back

Miss Rwanda competition 2018 is back according to Miss Rwanda web site. Registration is open on their website beginning today.

This news comes following   the Wednesday press conference aimed to speak  about the official opening day.

 Miss Rwanda website has announced requirements to be selected.

-Having Rwandan citizenship: Identity card or Passport

-Age: Being  between 18-24 years old

-Having at least acquired high school certificate

-Having fluency in speaking  Kinyarwanda language and any of foreign languages be it English or French.

-Height must be at least 1.70m

-Weight has to be between 45-70 kgs

-Having no kid or given birth

-Must comply with the fact that  she will stay in the country for  at least a year after being crowned as Miss Rwanda.

-Not allowed to  get married in case she still is on the spot.

-Having commitment to represent the country wherever whether asked for or needed.

-Having willingness to comply with all principals and instructions guiding the contenders.

The first roadshow for pageant will be staged in Musanze District on 13rd January 2018. The second selection will happen on 14, January in Rubavu District. Huye District will receive the event on 20th. Kayonza District will host the roadshow on the next day and Kigali city will eventually complete to the selectees on 27th January 2018.

Some changes were made because contestants who will get qualification to attend Boot Camp are so far expected to hit a stride to 20 finalists’ selectees from 30 contestants.

Camp Kigali Tent will hand over as Kigali Convention Center take over responsibility to host the Grand finale due on 24 February 2018. Unlike all mentioned, contestants who will attend Boot camp, will sit for written judgment exams and interviews.
